Soar The Skies And Be Like A Crow In Kickstarter Solo RPG
November 17, 2021 by fcostin
A new indie tabletop game has arisen on Kickstarter and was funded within 2 hours! You don't need a GM, a keen eye for loot, a pen, and a deck of cards to play through the adventure.
Be Like A Crow // Critical Kit
So what species do players take the role of? Do they take to the sea as an aquatic species? Patrol the desert? No - players take to the sky as the Be Like a Crow in Tim Roberts' upcoming solo RPG.
As players take on the role of their chosen bird, they will explore exactly what life has to offer through the eyes and beak in the skies. Allowing players to play out the cunning role of the day-to-day in the species.
Exploration // Be Like A Crow
Crows are certainly fascinating creatures, and not only do players get the chance to test out the skies with this corvid, but they can embark with four different species of the sky, whether it be a curious crow, a mischievous magpie, a daring jackdaw or a roguish rook. Each character has different characteristics and abilities to customise the experience of play.
Raven Stretch Goal // Be Like A Crow Kickstarter Campaign
There are indeed stretch goals that are being unlocked, given the Kickstarter achievement goal was a shy off of £2,000, this campaign is already up 300% - sitting currently at £23,000 with 12 days still left on the clock. Unlocking the playable Raven, and recent additions to other settings to immerse, such as The Tower of London and the adventures of an Urban Crow.
The Solo RPG experience, Be Like a Crow is set to hit shelves in May 2022 in the form of a softback book. So if you are keen on getting your eyes in the sky, taking the role of some predators of the sky - be sure to check out the campaign before its end date on the 29th of November.
What bird would you like to take the role of? Does anybody want to mess up a farm as a Cassowary?
