@sundancer if Gamezone legitimately owned the trademark, a lawsuit would be difficult. What they would likely have done is what Facebook have done with Meta – just start using it despite the trademark already being registered knowing that Gamezone would be unlikely to mount any meaningful legal challenge. Also, I could be wrong, but the quote of “the fans have been asking” is from Hasbro, not Gamezone. I think it was in their press release last year

I do agree that Gamezone have likely sold the trademark rather than simply given it up but by all accounts they needed to if they ever wanted to have any chance of fulfillment of their original crowdfunding campaign. I think everyone has pretty much written that off as a failed project and I don’t really expect to see anything come of this either if I am honest. It was interesting how the option to receive a Hasbro game was being offered.
