Necrons Are Swooping Into Aeronautica Imperialis Soon
November 10, 2021 by brennon
Games Workshop previewed some of the new Necron ships coming to Aeronautica Imperialis from Forge World soon. With thousands of years of combat expertise under their collective belts, these should be some fearsome foes to face on the tabletop.

The Night Scythe is armed with a pair of tesla destructors and can also be used to drop your troops behind enemy lines. It can also be tweaked and upgraded to become a Doom Scythe. This then gives it a heavy death ray which is primed to absolutely incinerate anything that falls into its crosshairs.
You'll also be able to add in the Night Shroud Bomber which is faster than the Aeldari's Phoenix Bomber but not quite as manoeuvrable. However, who cares when you can just get into place and drop death spheres on enemy fortifications?

It pays to have robotic pilots in these things as they are decidedly less affected by the likes of g-forces! This makes the Necrons a decidedly deadly addition to Aeronautica Imperialis. It would be neat to see whether or not there will be additional Necrons added to the game by Forge World. Maybe we'll also see some plastic releases in the future too?
Are you someone who has been enjoying Aeronautica Imperialis?

Nothing says great support for this faction than the core models being a Forge World release.
it’s GW … if it’s not spacemarines (or their fantasy equivalents) it’s not getting the support it needs.
At this stage I’m sure GW only sells it to their addicts *eh* I mean existing customers for the game.
Even Underworld has fallen into that trap based on what was shown in the recent XLBS.
they look great.
I was really hoping for plastic models. Ho hum.
I didn’t realise they were forge world when I read the article on Warhammer community site. I’ll pass on these.
