Aeronautica’s Plastic Thunderhawk Gunship Soars Into View

Aeronautica Imperialis fans can finally get their hands on the plastic Thunderhawk Gunship that was previewed many moons ago by Games Workshop. One of the most iconic vehicles in the Space Marine line-up will be hitting battlefields soon.

It's neat to see the Thunderhawk Gunship in plastic, even if it has been reduced to 8mm scale for Aeronautica Imperialis. It still has a fantastic look to it and one can hope that if they were able to build it on this scale, it might be viable to bring it up to 28mm in the future.

As well as the Thunderhawk Gunship, you can also pick up the Fire Raptor Squadron that will be able to lend some additional support to your Thunderhawks as they land troops at strategic locations.

Based on the Storm Eagle, the Fire Raptor gets rid of the transport space and uses the space to pack in more guns and ammo. You can never have too many guns. This makes them a vicious option for those wanting to hunt down the Xenos in the air.

Both of these sets will be available to pre-order this weekend and would be a good way to expand the Space Marine squadrons from Wrath Of Angels.
