SAGA: Age Of Invasions Takes Over The Tabletop
October 20, 2021 by brennon
Studio Tomahawk and Gripping Beast have now started taking orders for the new Historical supplement for SAGA, Age Of Invasions. You can snap up this new book and get started playing out the great invasions of history.
Age Of Invasions // SAGA
This book covers the Great Invasions that ended in 476 aD when the last Roman Emperor was dethroned. This focuses on the Roman Empire being pressured by the various barbarian peoples that sat along their border. You'll also find a shift and refocus towards the goings-on in Britain during the time including the rise of Arthur. As they say, this will let you know "Aetius, the fiery Clovis and the terrifying Attila".
Age Of Invasions - Saxons // SAGA
As well as some background and information on the period you'll find warband rules for the Late Romans, Britons, Saxons, Goths, Huns, Picts, Franks and the Sassanids. Plenty of ways to fight across the wide expanse of the crumbling Roman Empire.
In addition, you'll also find eleven Dogs Of War units, four brand new scenarios, The Limes campaign system and much more. For fans of SAGA, this will no doubt end up being another book that gets snapped up.
Remember! You will need the core SAGA Rulebook to use this Age Of Invasions supplement so make sure to snap them up too.
Are you going to be snagging this?

Ooh SAGA.
It would be nice to see some Saga and FoW content rather than news about here-today-never-played-again KS projects.
Hoping we see Lloyd and Gerry give us a run down on this come the weekender
Yup! Getting this!
(Note to self – must actually finish a SAGA army before I have more books than models!)
Ordered my copy on Tuesday, super excited. I hope it gets here for the weekend. I may have another Saga project in me this year.
SAGA!!!!
Is there much more to be said?
At last – I have a reason to get my Romano British Arthurian army done!
Still waiting on that Lets Play from the OnTabletop team. Doesn’t Lloyd have 14 different SAGA armies?
I think he just has one, I have 13 or 15 if you count the two 15mm versions of my crusade armies that I also have in 28mm
