Light Infantry & Butler’s Rangers Drop From Perry Miniatures

The focus of Perry Miniatures shifts back to the American War Of Independence once more with four new releases. Each set allows to you build up some British Light Infantry and the famous Butler's Rangers!

Butler's Rangers fought from 1777 through to 1784 and were raised by the American loyalist, John Butler. Most of the members of the regiment were from upstate New York and they fought principally in Western New York and into Pennsylvania. They did however head towards Ohio, Michigan and even Virginia. Each of the miniature packs above which features the skirmishers can then be bolstered with Command options for them.

This means that you can start to build up the options for the British troops during the war but also stack up the Americans against them too. As is the case with all of the Perry sculpts, they are incredibly detailed and meticulously researched to make sure that they are spot-on for the period.

These skirmishers could find themselves being dropped into a game using a smaller amount of figures or you could use them as part of a larger force, harrying your opponent from the flanks and generally annoying them!
