Just sitting and staring at a screen, occasionally clicking on an icon is just boring

About fifteen years ago, I used to play poker in local pub leagues but never really understood why so many people were enthralled by playing online, for pretty much the same reason; socialising by staring into a 4″/21″ screen just doesn’t feel right. Clicking an icon instead of reaching across and physically moving things around just doesn’t do it for me. Looking someone square in the eye and actually talking to them as you weigh them up if very different to… well, let’s be honest, sitting and typing 😉

I’m totally with you on this one.

But not the other. RPGs without miniatures? What is wrong with you man?!
