Nice. Just collect the cutoffs in a small container and add it into gravel mix for destroyed buildings.
In case it doesn’t want to keep colour I have seen in another video recently you can heat it with a small kitchen torch. These little storm lighter thingies. (Can’t remember if it was MWM or ZorpaZorp…)
it’s similar to annealing metal. It works but you have to be super careful as the melting point for plastics varies wildly
that’s a brilliant idea Gerry an if you want a firmer material you could try the car repair shops for body and vent metal grill sheeting.

I’ve seen some of the smaller grating used for Gaslands cars as armour plating. It never occurred to me to use other sizes for fences etc, great stuff, going to add some to my shopping list.
