The Warriors Come Out To Play In New Funko Games Announcement
September 20, 2021 by fcostin
Funko Games have been adapting iconic movie titles into board games more than often recently. Releasing previous titles that bring board gamers back into nostalgia, with tabletop combinations featuring the likes of The Goonies and Godzilla.
The next two on the line-up to join the Funko Games family were revealed at GenCon 21, highlighting pulpy classic The Warriors and the roaring Hollywood action-adventure Jurassic Park board games coming early 2022.

If clanking bottles and whistling menacingly down alleyways when the sun is down is right up your alley, then The Warriors board game is certainly one to watch out for.
In a cooperative experience, players make their way through the intricate New York subway system of sweet 1979, journeying to home in Coney Island to fight for their innocence in the midst of rival gang warfare.

The game promised to include familiar aspects to the table, which will impress fans that have loved the film over and over again like me. Such as familiar names, gangs and characters bringing the story to life for a whistling experience.
Along with the announcement of The Warriors Board game, Funko Games also announced their venture into Isla Nublar. With an immersion into the franchise. Playing out a campaign within the universe that promises a new experience, not much has been released about the title other than the artwork, however, with a mammoth licence that big - I am sure it will have Jurassic Park fans delighted.
Are you interested in Hollywood films crossing over onto the tabletop? I do find myself sceptical with large titles, however, Funko games have truly ignited my adventuring spirit with The Goonies board game, I am looking forward to seeing more details on these two titles.
