yes, first, great one
Greatest Movie Ever Made you need to watch it.
It’s the Weekend! Errr…
“Bringing holes to Kickstarter”
Yeah…. that doesn’t sound to good out of context now does it? 😉
I think I read in a review that those tile sheets from Warbases are made from organically raised haggis which are then skinned and cured
I think John is wrong about Vallejo. It’s everywhere in shops and being used by historical and fantasy painters on you tube
I’m very here for laser cut haggis. Definitely going on my next Warbases order.
laser cut haggis – the future
Agreed, Vallejo is in all the shops near me and is certainly the go-to in the historical circles I’m in, maybe it’s just the G’Wulla must use Citadel Paints crowd who don’t notice it?
Another relaxing tutorial from Professor Gerry (@avernos) and his study group… Really like the Bifrost Miniatures – another collection I was not aware of that may swallow up more of my wallet’s contents. Also thanks for the reminder that the rescheduled Salute will be in November this year – will BOW/OTT be reporting on events again (masked or unmasked?) ?
Currently in the process of working out what we’re doing for Salute. Fingers crossed!
The Kings of War Halfling cookery-based magic… surely that should be some form of Saucery? The secrets of which are gleaned by studying from the insidious tome called “the Necronomnomnomicon”.
I think that might have indeed been another name for it haha
Hi CoGz of the weekender.
It’s the Weekender. Hurray we made it! ??
Real Terrain Hobbies is fantastic! I’ve been watching his stuff since he started. (I’m not cheating on OTT…..I just miss the ‘Hobby Lab’ terrain making shows that the boys used to make for us, when we were then called ‘Backstagers’)
Love the Warbases’ SciFi stuff. I’m with Free in that the STARBASE 962′ looks good for ‘Infimity’ but I’ll have to make sure I don’t order the 15mm stuff as Infinity is 28/32mm. (I’ve recently seen some arguments about what scale ‘Infinity really is).
Yes the Shire game table is tree-menduse.
for Lloyd.
Christ 1982 Dark Crystal came out i loved that film when it came out.
nice show guys.
First do not refer to refer rangers as a cartoon. It is a live action piece of trash ( I really detest the whole brand). On the idea of cartoon miniatures, iwould like to see something like Jonny Quest as a miniatures game ( rocket packs , hover craft, spider robots, etc. ) how about GI JOE. Idon’t understand why Hasbro or Marvel never considered it as a miniatures game. when you consider the wealth of character available in that universe, plus the vehicles , it would have been out amazing. I know that footsore had a non GI JOE… Read more »
I believe that there must be a writing performed! In my half addled state of mind I have the perfect thing…. The halfling sorcerer of note, Gourmand Von Doom- the first halfling, and perhaps the most mad, to pierce the secrets of the Gastronomicon beginning with his Chili Con Carnage utilizing such unholy ingredients as the Heisenburg Habanero (a rare glowing pepper of such demonic power it emits a radiance that kills the bowels of those that even venture near it). This iron mitted halfling lord brings bitter despair upon those unable to palate the richness found under his direction.… Read more »
Great stuff from paperboys ?
Another great episode guys, and I got a ton done on the Elf Lords Hall for my Middle Earth SBG table.
Happy Weekend everyone.
I knew about Hobby Craft stocking Woodland Scenics when I discovered this a few months ago. Like Ben I was happy.
I’m tempted with that Dark Crystal book. It looks so nice.
Launching a new paints line must be quite a challenge. I can see associating them with a miniature painting celebrity seems to be doing the job well. I’ve no interest though, yet. If I hear good things in a year or so and I can get them in retail I may give one or two a try.
Nice to see Warbases featured. I’ve got a small collection of their Tudor/Fantasy buildings. They look great.
Is it only me, or are halflings really just more friendly goblins? Sort of the comic relief races on either side of the old good vs evil spectrum. 🙂
almost a week late, but i get to watch it at last, three cheers for replacement laptops
