More Villains Teased For Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum
September 7, 2021 by brennon
Knight Models have been teasing more of the villains that you'll get to play as when Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum comes to Kickstarter soon!
Hugo Strange // Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum
One of the cool things about Escape From Arkham Asylum is that you're not playing as the Caped Crusader. Instead, you take on the role of many, many villains from the Batman Rogue's Gallery as they seek to escape from the facility. This means you can take on the role of the ingenious Hugo Strange or perhaps the mad and dangerous Lunatic.

The miniatures from this game should be nice to see drift over into the Batman Miniatures Game as well if you so desired. So far, I am impressed by the sculpts and it will be interesting to see what gets included as part of the core game and who comes later down the line through Stretch Goals.
If you prefer to be more "to the point" when it comes to your escape plan then this is where Bane comes in. Why bother scheming when you can simply smash your way through everything in your way?
Bane // Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum
As mentioned above, in this game you're going to be trying to escape before Batman has time to hunt you down. Evade guards and rush through the winding passages of Arkham Asylum all before the Dark Knight finds out what's going on and puts you down.

As well as getting a good look at the different miniatures you'll be getting as part of the game, we also got a peek at the hex tiles. The designs on them look great and full of detail, just what you want when you're rushing through a place as evocative as Arkham.

I like the little touches here and there too. You've got all of the checkmarks on the walls of Zsasz's Cell and Batman's looming cowl peering through the window of the cafeteria. It will be interesting to see how all of this comes together with the final product.
"I'm A Superhero!"
Finally, we also have another of The Suicide Squad "skins" for the game. They won't have specific rules but you can use them to replace an existing character in the game if you so wish.
Polka-Dot Man // Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum
I imagine a lot of folks are going to be picking these up so that they have movie versions of The Suicide Squad to use in their DC Universe Miniatures Game skirmishes.
Are you keeping an eye out for the release of this Kickstarter later this Autumn?

Bane is batBane the scarecrow doesn’t look scary enough in my opinion polka-dot was good in the film.
Strange looks great, Scarecrow looks quite strange and Bane is ok. Batman looks nice though. And hexagon shaped board tiles is also quite interesting.
