Starting the infantry
Starting with the basic infantry platoon all the figures are from Perry Miniatures and are in the early war uniforms, first a quick clean up and a base of undercoat.
Awaiting the block colours Similar to my previous “Infamy” project the aim was to get these figures “table ready” rather than try to win any painting prizes (which I wouldn’t anyway) so it was going to be basic block colours and away. For the main uniform it was Middlestone, puttees Field Grey and then a dry brush with pale sand.

Dry brush with pale sandIt was then a matter of washing with a soft tone and another light dry brush with sand and then it was onto the rest of the figure.
