Who Will Win? The Mouse, Cheese, Cat Or Evil Cucumber?
August 12, 2021 by fcostin
Now, this is a new concept! Mouse Cheese Cat Cucumber brings four very different playable characters into the mix. To fill you in, up to four players will take the role of either a devious mouse, a grounded piece of cheese, a detecting cat or a calculated cucumber. And it is up to the player to use a combination of tile placement and social deduction to hunt for a winner.

Now out of these four characters, who would you presume to be the most villainous? Not the thieving mouse, or the shifty cat, no! The cucumber stands tall as the villain! Mouse Cheese Cat Cucumber provides players with a top-secret objective that will change the winning conditions depending on what character they choose. It is up to players to work out who is whom, and stop them from winning the game. Especially that pesky cucumber!
Only taking roughly twelve minutes to play, players will perform several actions in their turn, whether it be placing a tile or rotating them - the most important part is to get in the way of the opponent's objectives and ensuring yours are being met too! However, the game end can be triggered at any point. When any player has met their secret objective or when the evil cucumber is drawn from the deck and will determine the winners' criteria depending on the conditions.

But just because there are four characters in the game, it does not mean that four players are required. There are four different modes players can tap into, whether it be a multiplayer, puzzle or two different solo modes - there is sure to be a lot of fun coming from such a tiny box.
If you are keen on giving the game a go virtually, you can try out the concept on Sovranti for free, to trail the game mechanics and see if you like the feel before committing to purchase.

The game was successfully funded within the first 60 minutes of being live on Kickstarter, and now the game is soon to hit retail in the US on October 15th. So be sure to keep your eyes peeled for a very unique, successful and fun game for families and players 10+.
I personally feel sorry for the Cheese in this instance. They merely want everybody to get on and have a happy time - you know because they take a neutral standpoint... because the Cheese is Swiss. Perfection.
We all know that cucumbers do go through some form of transformation during the pickling process... but does this turn them good?

Sounds like fun
Lol cats hate cucumbers.
I read that cats react to cucumbers in the same way as they do to snakes. :/
Yes that could be the case of a survival instinct.
