Explore The Cursed City In Cubicle 7’s Age Of Sigmar: Soulbound
August 10, 2021 by brennon
Turns out you will get a chance to explore the Cursed City of Ulfenkarn once again but in a different way. Cubicle 7 has been laying out the roadmap concerning future content for their roleplaying game, Warhammer Age Of Sigmar: Soulbound and one such book includes Ulfenkarn: City At The Edge of Death.
Ulfenkarn: City At The Edge Of Death // Cubicle 7
This new book will provide an in-depth guide to Ulfenkarn, its history and its people. You'll find rules within for playing out adventures during its various perilous times alongside hooks to get you drawn into the action. After reading the book by C.L. Werner on Cursed City I was very much on board with the idea of diving into a Soulbound game set within its haunted walls.
The focus here moves towards horror and the different creatures you'll meet during your time. Vampires, ghouls, deadwalkers and more stalk the streets. You'll also find character archetypes designed and built around the Grim And Perilous rules from Soulbound that include the likes of the Vampire Hunter, Doomslayer Of Sigmar, an Aelven Exile and Guard Captain Of Ulfenkarn.

As I mentioned previously, after reading the book and playing a bit of the game I am so very into the idea of setting a campaign within Ulfenkarn. The city really is a fascinating place to explore and it is packed with ways for you to play campaigns dripping with intrigue, backstabbing and blood. Look for this new supplement at the start of 2022.

so in case you can’t get the minis… get the book? 😉 SCNR
You can get the minis if you want to pay much more than the boardgame cost as GW sell them separately. They just don’t support the boardgame anymore.
Ok, let me rephrase that then to “you can’t get the boxed game… so get the book?” 😉
Would be great to find a necromancer’s treasure horde.
Interesting… Leaving us wondering yet again why GW won’t say why they suddenly dropped and won’t speak about the board game, despite the continuing White Dwarf articles…
