Get Your WWII Assault – Tactical Skirmish Combat On Now!

WWII Assault - Tactical Skirmish Combat game from Mad Mitch's Game is a new KickStarter campaign happening right now. In this game you are playing at the fire team or squad level and can be played with any scale miniatures.
Here is the interesting part the basic rule book is reportedly only 5 pages long and has a card based initiative system along with realistic moral and weapons factors. According to the games designer they are working with Wargames Factory and have the basic miniatures set for the Germans, Americans and Russians available as well so you can get playing right away.
As one who is always on the look out for new rules system, this one has my attention to see how it plays. If you are a WWII gamer I think you should jump in on it too and the cost is very reasonable for all.
Are you game? I am!
I probably won’t pledge, as I play too many different systems already and have too many miniatures (that’s a lie, you can never have too many miniatures)… too many 28mm Russian Miniatures… for now. If they can get some of those box sets distributed in the UK (and therefore a little cheaper) I might well be tempted. Mostly because of the female Russians. Other than one medic I can think of, there are very few female Russian minis, which is a shame. More companies should include female sculpts as, to quote wikipedia: ‘There were 800,000 women who served in the… Read more »

Thanks!
Look interesting, however I already have 48storm (http://www.48storm.com) for my WW2 Skirmish needs (and it only has one page of rules ;))
But with 28 days left I bet I won’t resist pledging eventually.
Dumb question@maddgame,
but does 48 storm mix well with I-48 by any chance. The minis have a very similar look/feel to them.
They mix very well. It’s from the same game designer. After the split with Baueda he made his own version of the game. You can use all 1-48 miniatures in 48Storm.
Doesn’t tell much about the system really… not enough to make me interested. And Wargames factory minis? Yikes… no, thank you!
So are the stat cards from 48storm the same as I-48? The reason why I ask, is I have a couple of friends who want to learn, but I need a larger figure base to work from. Tempted to get the minis for 48storm expand out my I-48 minis.
Well now a interesting problem. The company that ships the 48storm’s minis, nextargames, does not ship to Australia. Well to be fair, according to their web store, they don’t ship outside of Europe. Does anyone know who else stocks the 48storm minis?
That does look rather interesting.
