Piano Wargames is now on Kickstarter with a Napoleonic project that features some stunning 28mm Historical miniatures. Lucas Luber has decided to focus on a particular army from the Kingdom Of Württemberg as part of The Price Of Crowns Kickstarter.

When visiting the battlefield of Eggmühl, Luber was drawn to the conquest of the castle by the Württemberg Light Infantry Brigade. From there, he decided to sculpt up an army that represented those soldiers and their newly founded kingdom.

Price Of Crowns comes from the price paid by the young soldiers who marched off and never returned home from Napoleon's campaigns across Europe. And so, this Kickstarter was born and Württemberg is coming to life.

At the core of the campaign is a new set of Line Infantry which you can use to form the core of your army. The Line Infantry, Line Infantry Command and Grenadiers are all looking great, marching their way through the forests of Europe. An impressive set of miniatures that are packed with detail.

You can also change things up and pick up the STL Files if you prefer to do a bit of 3D Printing.

So, you can either wait until they get deeper into the campaign and unlock more physical releases or go for the 3D Printing files and snap them up instead. The STL Files mean that you can rescale the miniatures too and bring them down to 15mm scale if you prefer.

The Price Of Crowns Stretch Goals

As well as the core of the campaign, Piano Wargames are also looking at some Stretch Goals to bolsters the collection.

Light Infantry Stretch Goal // Piano Wargames

The Light Infantry are looking pretty good and I like that they have been posed a little. It's neat to see soldiers pointing, shooting and calling out orders. You can also get even cooler with the addition of the Jaegers.

Jaegers Stretch Goal // Piano Wargames

Man, I like the green-coated Jaegers. I love the look of these skirmishers who would often find themselves ranging a little way away from the main force.  You can also throw in a few characters to help build up your force.

These particular options have yet to be unlocked but I can't imagine that they are going to stay locked for long. I think the characters look fantastic and the work from Piano Wargames is well worth exploring in more detail. Great detail, neat poses and a good range to slot in alongside other plastic and metal collections.

Last but not least we also have these Casualties which can be used as wound markers of base accessories.

I do like seeing casualties get includes as they are good for setting a scene. You could pop these in alongside larger diorama pieces or just use them as gaming pieces rather than introducing counters and dice into the equation.
