Anvil Industry’s Kickstarter Funded With New Vehicle!
October 27, 2014 by brennon
Anvil Industry's Kickstarter for Afterlife: The Shards of Liberty may be over but they also got to show off some neat looking additions to the range as it got successfully funded. See what you think of this Republic Assault Recon Vehicle and the Pulse Mechs with Flight attachments!
As you can see it's decidedly more rugged looking than the Unity Council vehicle we showed off last week. I like the buggy look and while it doesn't look too comfortable for the men riding on the back it would be quick and easy to respond once you hopped off at your destination. It also has a rather epic looking gun on the top too.
Have you also wanted to see your Mechs fly? Well they have also developed a neat add-on for the Pulse Mechs that give you the ability to hit the skies and then land in a new spot for better fighting. It would be cool to paint up the burn details on those jets I reckon.
Did you pledge?

Hmm, I’d have given it a slightly longer wheelbase and bigger lights. Having two people up front would have been cool, too, but I get this is more of a buggy than a jeep. I will certainly be getting one of these as part of my pledge 🙂
Pretty sweet recce ride. I like the man-sized mech idea, but it’s a bit busy for my tastes, and I’m not fond of the way the guns are mounted. It does, however, look somewhat plausible, and it’s not a 30′ tall projectile sponge.
I’m really glad these guys made it and it got funded. it’s not personally a game id get into, but I really appreciate the vision and style they were going for, they have some really cool ideas so I genuinely hope this game does well for them! Both of those models look well done and I appreciate the near-future and more realistic look t the technology.
I totally agree with this sentiment. I can’t see myself being an early adopter on this game (I’ve got too many irons in that fire already); but I really hope they make this game happen beyond the kickstarter, it looks interesting.
In for two of these, just love the design. Also, just had an update that says you can get some pledge options from their website, well worth a look, real quality models.
“We will be setting up some Paypal pledge options on our website for anyone who for whatever reason was not able to pledge during the KS itself, and Paypal pledges will count toward that £42K stretch goal which is £100 away at the moment.”
love the buggies.
