New Great Wolf from Micro Art Studio
May 10, 2011 by beerogre
Do you need a big thunder-sized wolf... then check out this Great Wolf from Micro Art Studio!
Ideal if you want to mount some of your Marines on their big fuzzy puppies... or of course you just need some good ol' Dire Wolves for D&D.

I’m glad we have @darrell locked in the studio today or i would only see him salivating over this all day!
Model comes unassembled, included two different heads.
The mini is approx. 9cm long and 4 cm high. The base on the picture is 60mm.
Miniature cast in high quality resin.
Base not included.

Really love this model. The pose and detail of all 3 of Micro Art’s Great Wolves are stunning but I particularly like the head on this one, it is so nice to have a wolf (or any monster/carnivore) that isn’t snarling or biting.
I may need to get 2 of them and a wild girl with a spear, fur cape and strange mask.
Wouldn’t bother with the wolves personally, and just go for a wild girl with fur cape and mask! lol
Couldn’t find the models on the website DOH!
The one above does look good.
Was thinking that the spare head offers the possibility of a Cerebos conversion.
If only the real thing wasn’t so hard to find.
On the model front I’d have to get all 3 though.

Blegh forgot images don’t work in the video comments, anyway Princess Mononoke is awesome now if only I could find a fitting model for her.
I guess you would have to stock up on biker legs if you wanted to use these for thunderwolf cavalry, unless there’s something from Bretonnian or Empire cavalry that would suit.
