Wyrd Release One-Shot Penny Dreadful RPG Scenario
July 23, 2021 by fcostin
It seems recently that Wyrd has been showcasing a lot of their games systems. Putting titles such as The Other Side and Bayou Bash front-and-centre of Malifaux, and introducing new board games opportunities that exist outside the world of their most popular title.
Price of Progress // Penny Dreadful
However, Wyrd's RPG Through the Breach has been getting a little bit more attention recently, with Wyrd outsourcing for playtesters and now the newest one-shot adventure is available to download via DriveThruRPG, entitled Price of Progress.
The task at hand for Price of Progress sounds simple on the surface, as players have been tasked and employed by the biggest rail company in Malifaux, the Condor Rails. Players will need to work as The Fated to survey some land for some extra dollar with hope that the Condor Rails will build a new rail line. If the pay is great (a bit too great...), what is the issue? The employer has specifically stated that The Fated are to not ask too many questions, as secrets are lurking underground.
If you have never played a one-shot before from Wyrd and accessing Through the Breach, these little adventures are usually and normally only released as a PDF for devices, as they are smaller files. They can be slotted in as part of a campaign that players might be already running as part of Through the Breach, or if players are looking for a quick-hitter adventure to not incorporate as part of a wider picture.
The new adventure is available to download today, so be sure to head over to the DriveThruRPG page here, to access the new adventure for only $5!
Have you headed Through the Breach before?
