I bagged the Covenant early. I like the scheme a lot. It’s very striking. Apparently the Covenant are a new Primaris chapter derived from the Salamanders. I’m a Salamanders fan so this was very welcome.

what colours were used for this orange/terracotta look ?
I painted these a while back and I can’t find my notes on the colours I used. My usual orange recipe is to use Vallejo’s Orange Brown and Scrofulous Brown with Sunny Skintone for highlights.
But I have been using Scale Colour a lot more this year and I’m wondering if I used their Orange Leather and Mars Orange for this figure. I have a feeling I did.
I’m sorry, I can’t find any notes on this figure so I’m not sure exactly which combo I ran with.
Also I used a black oil wash to finish it. I’m not completely sold on oil washes but in this case I think it worked well.
