Victrix Update 12mm WWII Soviet Previews With Command Options

Victrix has updated their preview of the newest 12mm plastic figures coming to their Victrix Games collection. Their 12mm World War II range is going to be growing soon with the addition of some Soviet Infantry and also a Command & Heavy Weapon kit too.

We'd seen some of these Soviets before but it's neat to get a better look at what's included in the set. You get a lot of miniatures with regular rifles but also submachine guns too. There are also a few machine guns in the mix alongside those throwing grenades. You even have a few female figures in there too which is nice to see.

The bigger reveal was for the new Soviet Command & Heavy Weapons miniatures. Here you have all of the troops you need to lead your forces into battle.

You get a good mix of officers throughout, all in different poses. Set them behind your legions of Soviet troops and make sure they run in the right direction. Beyond the command options, you've then also got your different heavy weapons.

There are big machine guns, sniper teams, anti-tank options and even a couple of mortars too. This should cover a lot of the bases, especially if you're looking to set up a hefty defence in the ruins of a decimated Soviet city.
