Kromlech has now released a whole host of new bases for you to use when building your next army. The Old Town Ruins should be suitable for a variety of different genres and they also come in a variety of sizes too.

These new bases have been designed to show an utterly destroyed and ruined place that once housed life. Now it has been utterly destroyed by some devastating war and now all that is left is the rubble.

There are all manner of different bases for you to pick from in high-quality resin. You should be able to find a base that works for you running from 25mm through to 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 70mm, 20mm and 170mm. They have designed bases that are rounded and also suited to flyers, bikes/mounts and more.

Here are some examples of how some of the Kromlech range look when mounted atop these resin bases.

The smaller bases would be good for Sci-Fi but I think they would also work for a variety of different Historical and Post-Apocalyptic games. The larger bases throw more twisted bits of metal and machinery which take them deeper into the realm of Sci-Fi.

Make sure to have a look at all of the bases that are available over on their webstore and tell us in the comments if you're going to be snapping them up. I am starting to like the look of sculpted bases a lot more nowadays.

I think sculpted bases work very well for those wanting to make Sci-Fi armies. A lot of basing materials feel more focused on creating natural Fantasy environments. So, having bases like these are good for those of us who don't have the skill to create rubble like this.

Are you going to be picking these up?
