Napoleonic French by scribbs

We start with some historical miniatures from the continually hobbying scribbs. Here we have more from the Napoleonic period and some nicely painted French Infantry.

Napoleonic French #1 by scribbs

I really like how these miniatures have come out and I love the way that they have managed to capture that crisp white across the board with these miniatures. It is then complimented really nicely with the blue and white and all those little spots of colour.

Napoleonic French #2 by scribbs

I am also really liking the design of the basing too which makes it look like the rocky landscape of the Mediterranean. This is the first part of the 45eme Regimen and more is to come very shortly. I think I end up picking a lot of Napoleonic stuff because I am flabbergasted that someone is able to put that amount of attention into those uniforms!

Nemesis Dreadknight by feebleblobber

Next up, we've got something that I absolutely bloody love. I am a fiend for a vignette or a diorama and I think feebleblobber has done a superb job on this one. Here we have a Nemesis Dreadknight from the Grey Knights taking on a horde of Daemons!

Nemesis Dreadknight #1 by feebleblobber

This is the kind of thing that I loved seeing at the likes of Games Day (and now Warhammer Fest). There is something cool about seeing your miniatures in the middle of doing something epic, almost like it has been taken from a frame of a comic book.

Nemesis Dreadknight #2 by feebleblobber

It helps that this particular little diorama has been painted up really nicely too. I like the work on the fiery daemons of Khorne and then you've got that battered and bedraggled Dreadknight. There is plenty of battle damage here and there and that stonking great hammer smiting some foolish Bloodletter!

Nemesis Dreadknight #3 by feebleblobber

A great way to celebrate a faction and it would look very fitting when introducing into a battle against the creatures of the warp. It also happens that a lot of the additional miniatures placed around the Dreadknight were also nicely painted too!

Super Fantasy Brawl by laughingboy

Lastly, we have some great painting by laughingboy. He has been working on all of the heroes in his Super Fantasy Brawl collection and I have to say that they have come together really nicely.

Super Fantasy Brawl #1 by laughingboy

Many, if not all, of these miniatures, were painted up on his livestream (which is well worth a watch) and I think they look great. There is a good mix of techniques here running from the use of Contrast paints through to plenty of shading, highlighting and more.

Super Fantasy Brawl #2 by laughingboy

Each of them is entirely unique which means that you really do have to think about how you're going to approach painting each figure. It would be very easy to fall back onto the same techniques for each miniature that had armour for example but laughingboy has made them all feel totally different.

Another raft of awesome miniatures from our community!
