We all love a bit of Hero Forge here at OnTableTop to build our characters, never been able to forget Speedo Goblin and his mischievous antics with a perfect belly-button jewel and Fuschia-pink pants. Speedo Goblin does and will always live rent-free in my head.

Decals // Hero Forge

There are some new features available in the popular character builder, so we will take a look at what is new and shiny in the treasure hoard with new items, awesome decals and a look into the new subscription service: Hero Forge Pro.

A new addition to the character builder has finally made its way in. Decals have now been added for everybody to access. So if you are looking to go that extra mile and add some further customisation to your character's shield, banner, animal print, splatter, hair or beard - you can follow your faction through and through with some hardcore hero branding to save the day.

Along with the addition to decals, your character can be upgraded with more armour and more items, prepped and ready for their next campaign.

New Items - Shoulder Pad Collection // Hero Forge

Every Tuesday, Hero Forge update their system with some new and shiny items to plaster on your characters. Bulky chest armour not allowing your character to feel as tanky as they would like? The newest additions to shoulder armour can do exactly that! Your highly armoured warrior can now add the bones of their most recently slain beast, or wrap up with some extra fantastical layers of pure aesthetic beauty.

Along with the addition of the above shoulder pad collection, new alchemist bottles, a variation of drums, and a medieval gown has been added to the bank.

Hero Forge Pro Subscription // Hero Forge

A recent addition and change to Hero Forge may benefit those who use the online builder often. Hero Forge® Pro will benefit players who consider themselves 'power-users', constantly building, saving and creating to make the process even easier for you creative minds out there.

Hero Forge Pro subscribers will have so much to access with Beta access to new content and features, the ability to reuse saved paint sets, an organisation for your stored characters, the ability to create virtual tabletop tokens and so much more. All wrapped up in a nifty badge to show off your pro status with a label.

For those who use Hero Forge a fair amount, you can get access to 1-month, 3-month and 12-month subscription plans depending on how much you would use the online program.

What do you think of the new additions to Hero Forge? And would you consider getting Hero Forge Pro to keep your miniatures in organisation heaven?
