As we've looked at previously, this new set comes with a new look set of Stormcast Eternals for you to use in your crusades against the monsters of Ghur. The Kruleboyz are also on the warpath and give us a neat look at some of the other Orruks battling their way through The Mortal Realms. A pretty good starting point for those who are big fans of Age Of Sigmar.
New Core Book & More
As well as the new Dominion boxed set, you'll also be able to pick up the new Core Book separately from the set above. Obviously, everyone will want to snag the rules when they become available and not have to wait.
Limited Edition Core Book // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar
There is a new Limited Edition book which you see above which features one of the Annihilators on the slipcover and that rather fancy looking book within it. It features the hammer of Sigmar in the middle and then icons around the outside representing the four major Grand Alliances.
If you don't want to pick up the Limited Edition version then you can also pick up the Core Book in this format.
Core Book // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar
This features the mighty Yndrasta on the cover, descending down into a Chaos monstrosity. It does look very nice indeed. I also noted that they've gone with a tagline that very much matches the way Wizards Of The Coast regard Dungeons & Dragons.
For those who are deep into the gaming side of things, you'll also want the new General's Handbook collection.
General's Handbook 2021 // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar
This gives you all of the updated points costs for your more competitive games and plenty of additional scenarios for you to try too. I can imagine that a lot of people are going to be pouring over these books and the Core Book over the next few months to see whether or not this new edition is as good as they say.
More plastic is also on the way with this Realmscape Objective Set.
Realmscape Objective Set // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar
This gives you a set of objective pieces which you can use to mark important locations on the battlefield. I like that you've got all manner of ruined structures that have been torn down by the likes of the Kruleboyz. You've also got signs of reclamation too as Sigmar's armies set up shrines throughout the realm of Ghur.
As well as the new miniatures, books and accessories, you've also got these new Realmscape sets. This allows you to play out games using the new dimensions Games Workshop have set up for your games.
Realmscape Ghurish Expanse // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar
Swamps and blasted wastelands; sounds perfect for your battles across The Mortal Realms. A good start to your collection if you've perhaps jumped into Warhammer Age Of Sigmar for the first time.
Are you going to be snapping these up for your games of Warhammer Age Of Sigmar?

How long until it’s sold out? 😉
It’s the GW way now?
It’s it just me who hears “realm of grrr” each time?
Or it’s Gir… like the little robot from Invader Zim….
The new figures do look fabulous.
Of course its going to sell out.
Just look at how much they are selling the Cursed City miniatures for split up separately from the boxset. Lol, its a no brainer.
I really wish that FOMO wasn’t thing but sadly it is. I rather wait for 3 different starter set versions like is case with 40k instead of trying to pre-ordering this limited release one.
Yet another limited run, makes you wonder if the Cursed City fiasco was not deliberate to cause panic buying with future releases. Thank God GW don’t produce toilet paper ?
thank god GW don’t produce anything vital to our survival …
although their plastic craick does come close 😉
I do like the look of the objective markers, but to use in DnD.
Of course the box set will sell out…. How else will GW manufacture the fear of missing out that makes people buy things regardless of the cost. Myself, I’d want to know if the rules were any good and if my friends were wanting to play the game before splashing out that much cash, so the standard starter sets that are cheaper and can be picked discounted from 3rd party sellers would be a better deal for me.
