Fans of Arkham Horror The Card Game have been investigating across the world for the next dark and gruesome horror lurking in the shadows. Through portals and under the ocean, the next investigations take players into new terrain with new monsters that wait ahead.
Edge of the Earth - Arkham Horror // Fantasy Flight Games
There are two new expansions coming to Arkham Horror, amongst the edges and uncharted areas of Baltic Antarctica in the Edge of the Earth Investigator Expansion and the Edge of the Earth Campaign Expansion.
Players will be thrown into the depths of ice, cold bitterness to investigate what lurks in the shadows of the unknown corners of our planet:
In the far, uncharted reaches of Antarctica, unspeakable horrors dwell on the edge of shadows. They lurk, wait, and watch, and with them comes a secret so ancient and profound that it threatens to tear apart our very understanding of the planet we call home—if it doesn’t tear apart reality itself first. Thus, our intrepid investigators must delve into the mysteries of the great southern ice sheets and, hopefully, uncover the truth before it is too late. Will they save the world? Or will they perish in the icy depths?
With two new expansions underway, players will get the chance to explore the new arena in two different ways. As Arkham Horror is a Living Card game, Fantasy Flight Games have confirmed that all expansions from here on in will be released in two different boxes - the Investigator and Campaign Expansions.

Contained within the Edge of the Earth Investigator Edition is a chance to stack up a hoard of cards for the new battlefield and arena. With five new investigators and 250 cards, players will have the opportunity to expand on their deckbuilding to conquer some extremely tough outcomes in the campaign and prepare themselves equipped.

On the other side of the coin, the Edge of the Earth Campaign Expansion will include 300 scenario cards to cover the whole campiagn to which you are about to embark upon.
Players are not required to buy both sets to play. The Edge of the Earth Campaign Expansion will pair really nicely with the Arkham Horror Core Set, and will be able to jump straight into the horror that is unfolding in Antarctica. However, if players do want the full immersive experience, gaining the Investigator Expansion will introduce players to a plethora of new cards to bolster up their decks.
However, if you are a fan of the franchise - double trouble with two expansions will completely immerse you into the new experience.
There will not longer be any releases of the Mythos pack on a monthly basis, as Fantasy Flight has confirmed that everything needed has been incorporated into the new expansion boxes - streamlining the process for the continuously growing living card game.
For more information on the new cards, upcoming release schedule and the expansions themselves, be sure to head over to the announcement page at Fantasy Flight Games.
The new expansions are now available to pre-order so keep your eyes peeled for the all-new format going ahead for Arkham Horror LGC.

Much better way to market this product. Never thought much of the pack a month rubbish.
I think i’ll prefer this way of packaging the expansions, especially if it cuts down on the amount of packaging used.
thank the lord I was running out of kidney’s to sell in order to buy all of the Mythos Packs!
Yet again, another Lovecraft themed game that I have obsessively collected, although I have actually played this one! Albeit solo ha ha.
