So how does Pandemic Hot Zone differ from regular Pandemic? The first of it's release Pandemic Hot Zone North America proved to incredibly popular. Focussing solely on North America, showing to be a simpler and faster way of playing Pandemic.
As opposed to saving the world one pandemic at a time, Pandemic Hot Zone Europe keeps track of Europe only. The streamlined version can be played with 2-4 people, with less diseases to contract and heal - the game can take anywhere from twenty minutes to half an hour - depending on how many players there are in the game.
The game is smaller too, with less components, less cards and less to do in general - this is the perfect way to play Pandemic on the move without logging a giant box around with you.

The should have called this ‘My First Pandemic’ :p
I played pandemic a couple of years ago and I really enjoyed it.
I just don’t want to deal with this subject matter at the moment anymore.
Maybe in a few years.
Favourite version of Pandemic? Pandemic: The Fall of Rome. Some very nice thematic tweaks to the core mechanics, a solid solo version included, and since you are tackling barbarian hordes rather than diseases, it’s a bit less on-point considering everything that’s been going on.
