Wargame Exclusive has added two new Imperial options to their webstore for those looking for new and alternative leaders. The first of these is for their Space Warriors with a new Sci-Fi Imperial Templar Champion stepping into the ring.

Imperial Templar Champion #1 - Wargame Exclusive

This chap seems like a good addition to a force that might be a little more focused on crusading. There are certainly all the rainments of a Black Templar here with the robe, chains, iconic halo and that pretty beefy looking sword.

Imperial Templar Champion #2 - Wargame Exclusive

I have always liked the theme and aesthetic of the Black Templars and I like that Wargame Exclusive has notched that up to eleven. This fellow does feel like a properly devout warrior who mutters prayers and such as he strides into battle. That "lantern" for want of a better word that he's carrying also hammers home a little more of that religious zeal, using purifying light to illuminate his foes.

Imperial Steel

As well as the Templar Champion, we also have the new Imperial Steel Commissar who looks like he is growing tired of the failing troops that stand before him.

I don't think that anyone would take objection to his ruling on the battlefield. The "Steel Commissar" name isn't just a nickname either, this fellow is almost entirely bionics from the look of him which makes him even more brutal I don't doubt!

Imperial Steel Commissar #2 - Wargame Exclusive

Imperial Steel Commissar // Wargame Exclusive

I like the idea that he has seen so many battles in his time and lost so much of his human body that he is almost like one of the Adeptus Mechanicus at this point. When you've got to force more soldiers into the meat grinder it probably pays to have less of a soul rattling around in those bones.

Are you looking to snap up either of these characters for your Imperial armies?

"When you've got to force more soldiers into the meat grinder it probably pays to have less of a soul rattling around in those bones..."
