The frozen world out there is no friend to any man. Every year, brave explorers go into the unknown to learn about our planet deeper. In the new Kickstarter ICE, players embark on an exhibition to the Valley of the Ancient Ones, in the hunt for proof of a lost civilisation, answers and adventuring across thin ice to achieve a greater chance of survival.

The more players venture out, the more that they discover. With a multi-layer board ready to tackle as you traverse deeper into discovery. Under each layer, there will be a range of different artefacts for players to discover under five layers of tiles emulating ice. They then will be ready to be returned to the city where they can be examined further.

Sadly, not all is fair in love and war. As your excavation team are not the only people in search of these rare treasures. Rivalling guilds that are keen to evolve are looking for these sought after objects too. This is where the 1-5 players come in. You will have to battle it out against other players with strategy and wit to outsmart your opponents for artefacts.

It is not just the dangers of other players that need to be watched. The atmosphere and surroundings will be sure to keep players on their toes. With dangers and opportunities arising at different waypoints across the game.

These artefacts will unlock evolution in a guild, allowing their people to thrive and enhance their abilities to dig and progress in their own society. These artefacts provide reputation points, and each layer that is explored will offer new opportunity for each player. Changing the rules and adapting the gameplay.

The game is complete when the first tile from the bottom layer of ice has been discovered. Players will then need to tally up their reputation points at the end of the game to calculate who is the winner. The board itself is so incredibly unique and is built for the player to explore - and really does emulate the ice effect!

The Kickstarter Campaign was funded at a ridiculously fast pace. And stretch goals to game upgrades, extra components and so much more are continuously being unlocked. There are 13 days left on the campaign, and the numbers just continue to go up and up!
