The second bit
In this stage I painted the inside of the mouth.
The gums are Scale 75 instant paints love affair red.
The tongue is love affair red mixed with a little Fairy blood.
The inside of the mouth is a reverse of the above with Fairy blood mixed with a little love affair red.
The surround of the large eye is again Fairy blood.
Note – Fairy blood is apparently bluey purple.
Beholder miniature The spells being fired off from some of the stalks were reasonably simple.
- Red ink with yellow ink at the extremity for the fire looking spell.
- Blue ink for the lighting
- Green ink for the blasty looking spell
- Purple ink (red an blue mix because I don’t have purple ink) for the remaining spell
