Lego Fans Builds the Star Wars Lava World of Mustafar!

Say what you like about the Star Wars prequels, and believe me we do, they still had some epic lightsabre fights and decent backdrops for them. Now Escapist Magazine have come across a true Lego master piece as Michal Kaźmierczak recreates the lave world of Mustafar!
Mustafar is the mining planet at the end of Revenge of the Sith, where Obi-Wan and Anakin end up locked in a massive light sabre duel, which nicely relieved us from Hayden Christensen's acting for a few minutes.
The Lego model itself is comprised of over 60,000 individual blocks. Standing five feet tall and six feet in width, this was a truly massive undertaking that has ended with a really impressive piece of blocky art.
You know that deep down we all still love a bit of Lego, and this piece is simply stunning. I am particularly impressed with the lava, as even without the photoshop effects used on some of the images it does give the impression of flowing molten rock. All I can say is that Kaźmierczak definitely holds the high ground with this.
Did you ever set out to make any big builds with your Lego?
You can check out more of Kaźmierczak's builds here.
WOW most impressive most impressive indeed.
“Goooood goood” dangerous old hooded guy.
It’s good but its no Cloud Cookoo Land 😉
Stunning work but what are these … prequels? There were three Star Wars films, as any fule kno.
That is very impressive build. What makes that even more impressive is that that was made from real Legos instead of being Lego style CGI and that also helps me to ignore that this is based on something seen in prequels.
It is pretty awesome. Must of cost an arm and a leg
