@sundancer @avernos – thank you for the lovely comments on my project.

The paved bases are indeed done using a grey permanent marker and then a quick highlight on each brick corner. The texture is just the plastic base 🙂

what looks like a paper edge is weird – I think it’s just the edge where the stippled top meets the smooth side.
