Joy Games Interactives' Peculiar Companions is making 3D Printable miniatures via Patreon but they are also coming to Kickstarter soon. Their new funding project for a Holy Roman Empire army is going to be going live on 20th April.

The heart of this new project is going to be centred on making a new set of Fantasy miniatures inspired by the Imperial Army of the Holy Roman Empire. This means 15th and 16th Century influences, plenty of slashed silk and a familiar look for those who love this period and/or The Empire of Warhammer Fantasy Battles.

One of the core pledges for the campaign is based around this Imperial Army and providing you with everything you'd need to print off to run one on the tabletop.

For $30 you get all of the cavalry, infantry and characters that you'd need to make a pretty damn good army. When you factor in the relatively cheap cost of the materials (well, after buying a 3D Printer) this means you could have quite the army that costs time more than anything.

If you're lamenting the loss of your Empire army then this might be a good way to bring that back to life. As well as the humans that we see above, the campaign is also looking to introduce a bunch of other Fantasy elements too like Ogres.

As I mentioned above, Peculiar Companions has also been working on 3D Printing files for wargaming through Patreon and there is already a pretty extensive library for you to choose from on their website too. Maybe this could be the next place you look for your 9th Age force?

Are you liking the look of this Imperial Army?
