Battlefront Miniatures has a few new releases for those diving into World War II wargaming and taking on the Bagration German range. The focus for the first half of April is on Tank-hunters and there are three different sets for you to choose from for Flames Of War.

The first set of releases is this Hetzer Tank-hunter Platoon. These vehicles were often used in a support capacity but oftentimes they were called to mount counterattacks. They would normally be sent en-mass to push an enemy attack back and cripple enemy armour.

Next up, we have the Hornisse Tank-hunter Platoon.

Built out of the Panzer IV hull, this was an easy-to-maintain vehicle for the German army. It was also utterly devastating when arrayed against their Soviet foes. It was covered in 30mm of armour on the front but only 10mm as part of its superstructure. So, it was very good when getting stuck into the enemy but watch out if they are able to flank you! It also has mounted machine guns for anti-air defence too.

Finishing things off for these Tank-hunter vehicles we have the Elefant Tank-hunter Platoon.

The Elefant is as big and burly as its name would suggest. It boasted 20mm of front armour, 80mm of side armour and 30mm on top. So, this is a tough nut to crack. There was very little that could shift these vehicles and that makes them perfect for busting open Allied tanks.

Lastly, we also have an Escort Platoon that is going to be running into battle alongside these vehicles...

Want to make sure you keep an eye on your guns and keep them safe from ambush? Well, now you can follow in the footsteps of the 189. Sturmgeschützabteilung who would ride and escort their assault guns into battle. They would also often fight away from their assigned vehicles with assault rifles like the StG44. Oh, I do like an StG44.

This is an ace little set for taking out Soviet armour so maybe take a look!
