More edge highlighting. Phew!

I’m discovering the key isn’t how thin the line is but how consistent it is. That’s why A) thinning paint is crucial and B) removing the excess paint from the brush are essential. If you don’t do these things you get a blotchy line which they draws in the human eye and breaks the illusion of a consistent edge.
I’ve also discovered that when a consistent, even, pinstripe fails you (or in tight corners where a smooth, long stroke won’t work), 3 or 4 short strokes in series can be equally successful.
