Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch & More Coming To Marvel: Crisis Protocol

Atomic Mass Games teased these releases back when Deadpool got added into the mix for Marvel: Crisis Protocol. Thankfully, it looks like you won't have to wait long to meet the Maximoff family in the form of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in their new dual pack.

A closer look at the new Quicksilver miniature popped up on social media recently. It shows the classic character from the comic books dashing through an explosion and rushing towards his target. As quirky as the old costumes for these characters were, you can't deny that it adds a rather splendid dash (hah) of colour to the tabletop.

Quicksilver will be part of a dual pack that also includes his sister, Wanda Maximoff. Scarlet Witch looks decidedly more challenging to put together with all those thin tendrils of magic swirling around her but the effect is certainly impressive.

As both characters have made their name as part of the Brotherhood Of Mutants and the X-Men, I can see them being put to good use alongside many heroes and villains. In the run-up to their release, I imagine folks are going to be pondering on the best approach to painting them. Do you go with those classic comic book colours or do you go for something a bit more muted?

Mister Sinister!

As well as Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, we also got a teaser for Mister Sinister too. It's all coming up mutants with these latest releases!

Mister Sinister is definitely one of those characters that I remember from reading the comics as a kid but I don't reckon that I really understand what he could do! I feel like I was always reading portions of his stories in the comics.

Linked to Apocalypse and his experiments, Mister Sinister brings telekinesis and telepathy to the tabletop alongside his superhuman strength and blasts of energy he can project. I reckon I need to do more reading around him as he seems like quite the fascinating villain!

What do you make of the upcoming releases for Marvel: Crisis Protocol?
