After much messing around with paint schemes I settled on this for the first fleet.
Basecoat of white, then warp lightning then some details picked out in retributor armour. The engines are fluorescent red in the inner part with mephiston red on the outer.
To get it on the stand I have drilled into the bottom and put it on some 3mm acrylic rod. The base of the stand is a 30mm acrylic disk 2mm thick.
