Fight For Carthage With New V&V Miniatures Resin Warriors

V&V Miniatures has added to their Carthaginian collection with some new resin Warriors in 28mm. This small set of warriors have been designed for skirmish-style games like SAGA but they could also find themselves at home in larger-scale games too if you snapped up a few sets.

This set features four warriors who are armed with swords and shields. To mix things up, two of the soldiers do have alternative hands which allow you to switch the position of their weapons. It doesn't vary things up drastically but it is nice to have the option.

I like the idea of using these miniatures as leader figures for a larger collection of soldiers. Because they are a little more detailed, they could make the move towards being officers and the like who stand in the front ranks alongside other plastic or metal miniatures.

Obviously, if you're playing SAGA or something on a skirmish level then four might be enough for a veteran unit but I get a sense that you're going to want more of them to make a proper Carthaginian force.
