Be Fast Or Be Last In Dice-Rolling Racing Game Cubitos

The newest board game from AEG is set to hit retail stores real soon. So I wanted to take a look into this wacky-looking upcoming title, and see how the roll of a dice determines my face of the race in Cubitos.

Players take the role of some interesting-looking crazy characters (if you haven't seen it already, please draw attention to the block of cheese in laderhosen with high socks and hairy legs on the front of the box - named 'The Big Cheese'), ready to run in the race for the annual Cube Cup. I will add, the player will not need to contribute to any exercise, it is merely the characters in the game that will have to partake!

Once the runner is at the starting point of the track, a support team is ready and sitting in the wings, represented by the dice the player rolls in a turn. The luck of the dice is on the side of the player (or not on the side of the player) as these rolls will determine the next move on the track, and take the player one step closer to the finish line.

This isn't a game of snakes and ladders! It may seem simple however the board is craftier than you think. There are multiple tracks available on the board, meaning that the start and finish spots can move around, making it harder for players to complete the game.

Each character has a set of abilities that can be used to avoid the fate of the dice, and propel the player's way further through the game. The player who makes it to the finish line first is crown the winner, entitled the Cubitos Champion.

The game seems like a lot of fun, especially as it accounts for 2-4 players, so you can bring three other friends to this feisty race along with you.
