Week Two Dark Eldar Pre-Orders Hit The Webstore!
September 26, 2014 by brennon
Games Workshop have popped up the latest pre-orders for the Dark Eldar's return to Warhammer 40,000! As well as not one, not two, but three different Codex options they have the Voidraven Bomber and of course the new Datacards...
The Codex options come as above. You have the basic hardback full colour Dark Eldar version that you're used to seeing by now. Following on from that we have the Archon Edition of the rules that comes a Codex supplement all about the deadly Haemonculus Coven. You'll have extra rules, missions and of course all the back story on this sinister edition to the Dark Eldar's already sinister army. Last but not least is the Dracon Edition of the Codex which comes with the Raiders of Commorragh Painting Guide to help you out and some fancy pieces of artwork.
The Datacards have also been added to the pre-order line-up and contain some cool new objective cards to centre your games around the Dark Eldar as well as some helpful hint cards for using Combat Drugs on the battlefield. These are already sold out on the webstore so you're going to have to focus on getting them from a local store it seems!
Last but not least we have the Voidraven Bomber that's the miniature focus of this weeks releases. It's quite the awesome looking craft and certainly one of the best looking flyers that we've seen in Warhammer 40,000 matching that of the Razorwing Jetfighter that already exists. Not a bad piece of kit for those of you wanting to rain down hell on the battlefield.
Which parts of this pre-order will you be picking up?

Cover art work is great looking like with all new codexes. I really like that those are not these days overly busy anymore with lot of things happening. They went really crazy with limited editions with this one. That seems to be GW’s new big sale plan, focus on limited editions as those sell best.
Grabbed me an Archon Edition! I can’t wait to get a hold of it!
@mirarii: I would be interested in your oppinion, why the Archon edition is worth to buy it.I was shocked by the price and cannot see the content that would be worth the difference to the normal codex.
