Amongst the abundance of updates from Steamforged Games in their recent news wrap-up of coverage from GAMA Online, a new card game is making it's way onto our tabletops, putting SEGA's favourite super speedy hedgehog at the helm.

Sonic The Card Game // Steamforged Games

Steamforged Games made this announcement during the virtual event which started on 16th March, with very little to say but much to be excited about:

“Sonic’s the name, and speed is the game—literally! Join the beloved blue blur in a competitive card racing game where you’ll collect power-ups and rings to win. It’s fast family fun you’ll race through again and again.”

More For Epic Encounters

Not much has been announced about the game thus far, other than the expectancy that this fast-paced card game will incorporate aspects of the beloved video game, such as glowy rings and perfected power-ups.

The full announcement can be found here.

GAMA will continue on Tuesday, March 23th and Saturday, March 27th.
