New Human Cavalry & Rangers Riding Into Oathmark Soon

North Star Military Figures has previewed what's coming up for the world of Oathmark. A new set of Human Cavalry is popping up for this 28mm mass battle Fantasy wargame by Osprey Games which can be armed with a variety of weapons.

This set is going to be available in April and you'll get fifteen miniatures for you to tinker around with. There are options to make a full fifteen archers, spearmen or riders armed with regular hand weapons like maces, swords and axes.

The set is designed to cover Human Cavalry and Mounted Rangers in the Human army list for Oathmark. Much like with the other Human miniatures for Oathmark, I really like the design choice which looks like it covers a broad array of "Medieval" and "Dark Age" aesthetics. There is still something very Tolkien-esque about the design which I love and I could see you making an army of Gondor or Rohan with these kits.
One of the most important things about the cavalry set is that the horses look like they are thundering forward purposefully. You don't want a set of cantering horses when battle is going on all around you! Remember that even if you have focused on collecting a Dwarf or Elven army, the factions of Oathmark can all fight together so you might want to pick these up anyway!

They look great! I too will be waiting for the elf ones but, i might be tempted to buy a sprue for fun!
