March 11, 2021 by fcostin
CMON has now begun showcase their next faction updates for A Song Of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game, as House Stark gain their new 2021 revisions. Fighting with the heart of a pack of dire wolves, these updates give House Stark a new edge with the loyalty and determination of the North on their side.

Above you can see some of the new updated cards that are coming to the game to prepare House Stark for battle. With new changes to Tactics cards and updates to characters such as the noble Robb Stark and Grey Wind's cooperation with Robb himself.
New changes to cards include:
- The North Remembers - this no longer requires a friendly unit to be destroyed to put this card into play on the table. Now, this unit is Now equipped to be used at the start of a turn, it also allows the player to gain units when a friendly unit is destroyed.
- Winter is Coming - this card denies the opposing player their ability to play a tactics card or orders when successfully charged. This can be incredibly dangerous if plotted carefully.
And as you can see, there have been updates to a range of different tactical cards. Maybe 2021 will be the Year of the Direwolf.
New updates have also been made available for House Baratheon, House Targaryen, the Free Folk and Neutrals prior to this announcement, to adapt them intoto the new year.
What do you think of the new House Stark update?

Nice.
It’s really great to see a company reviewing and improving a gaming system. This is great game and this kind of update across the whole range will ensure it’s future.
Couldn’t agree with you more. It is so nice to see that it’s a new year and things do not have to remain broken or weak and that each house is getting a fair update. It gives me a new opportunity to try out some new Houses too!
Still haven’t had the chance to play, yet, what with ‘The Event (Stay Indoors)’ but I really like the constant re-balancing that they do and, more importantly, manage without just resorting to ‘everyone is the same, deal with it’.
