New Be’lakor Mini Revealed For Age Of Sigmar & Warhammer 40K
March 8, 2021 by brennon
The massive new miniature for Be'lakor has now been revealed by Games Workshop for the worlds of Warhammer Age Of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000. The mighty Daemon Prince has returned to sow havoc throughout The Mortal Realms and Grimdark Future.

Be'lakor is the subject of the latest Broken Realms book which continues to build on the storyline for Age Of Sigmar and The Mortal Realms. The mighty Daemon Prince has bided his time and is now ready to put his plans into action, striking out to claim his rightful place amongst the Grand Alliance of Chaos. Of course, that also means that he will be expecting the other factions to bend the knee to his reign.
The new plastic miniature is particularly impressive and I love that it harks back to the old miniature from Warhammer Fantasy Battles whilst also taking things to the next level, delivering that Nth level Age Of Sigmar twist.
Lord Grimdark
As well as making a name for himself in the realm of Fantasy, Be'lakor is also looking to take over the galaxy too with a Warhammer 40,000 version.

The main core of the miniature remains the same but there is also a slain Primaris Lieutenant lying broken at his feet. It's a nice little change that firmly plants the miniature in the land of Sci-Fi and is quite the nice dig at the Primaris at the same time.
This is a rather impressive miniature and I'm sure that the rules for Be'lakor are exceptionally fitting. If I was Archaon I would be a little afraid, even from the lofty seat of power that he currently occupies.
It's almost enough to get you thinking about starting up a new Slaves To Darkness army...

That is so METAL!! This is the perfect update of a classic, metal, grimdark character with modern technology! (Now, how long until the comments of “too busy,” “I hate all the little bits,” “overdone” and “I hate GW waaaah” surface? 3…2…1…)
I’m just curious about the price…. 😉
From the size I’m guessing around the same as greater daemons.
probably similar price as the other big display pieces GW have done (like the Silent King) and whatever the heck the battle nuns had.
So … 100 – 150 Euro ?
My words exactly. I love him!
Its busy and overdone, but it fits so well here! Awesome!
I think it is kind of boring … just a big demon with batwings and horns. *meh*
It also is a highly impractical ‘mini’ for a skirmish game.
As a display piece it is cool,
How would some one transport that model to games? I suppose it is big enough, you could magnetize it and stick it on the hood of your car when you drive to an event.
Aside from that however it looks fantastic.
Make the wings magnetised I would guess is the easiest way – plus maybe make it so you can pop him off the scenic base
Given how little the Primaris marine looks on the base, that model would need to be broken down some how to transport safely. I’ve been painting a lot of 28mm French infantry from Warlord lately. So that could be why the sheer size of that model strikes me. But that is probably the point.
Make him the hood ornament in place of your Rolls Royce Spirit of Ecstasy.
Exactly, make the peasants tremble!
Outstanding! I love this!!!
Total badass.
I think I would rather pay a third of the price for a similar, but much better, Creature Caster model that’s not going to have a footprint the size of a dinner plate on my game table.
I love Creature Caster too and support their stuff by all means but there’s no way I’m missing out on this one! — The more the merrier for me! (and I love those big footprint figs, thank you CMON)
Wow An uber Gargoyle.
I’m glad they saw the error of their ways and decided to give him the proper size treatment he deserves. I have the previous version and while it was very nice, it was underwhelming size-wise (yeah, let me say what we’re all thinking: size does matter! LOL) Now he can truly live up to his rep in the storyline.
I’m a bit confused at seeing a fallen Chaos warrior at his feet in the AOS version. Shouldn’t that be one of those *blankety-blank* Sigmarines that he has crushingly defeated? — I might do that in my version.
Be’lakor has very often shown his hatred for his “own kind”, especially since many of them serve the Everchosen who he is bound to crown for eternity. I like to think he is ready to stick it to Archaon and claim his place as the mightiest of Chaos Lords.
I like it. I like it alot. Looks awesome.
I wouldn’t build him with the space marine on the base, but that’s not really a negative on the model just my personal taste.
However, I already know I can literally buy an entire other faction for several games for the price they will want for that model. Not to mention there are dozens of equally impressive demons out there that would work just as well for a “counts as model”, an cost a fraction of the price.
I like everything about this except the face.
A much better head would have tempted me to buy this. Although Looking at this fella, I can see him being a test piece for Daemon Primarch Angron!
