When it came to printing the miniature, I thought I’d go for the more high-end plastic option. It’s a bit more pricey but I think that the final product looks pretty spot on.

As you can see, there are a few marks here and there from the 3D printing process but overall the finish on the model is good and it didn’t lose any of the detail that I’d seen in the original render.

You’ll also note that I change the staff to be one that is a little more archaic-looking and matches the more neutral style that you see in the artwork. Also, I removed Mister and put Bob on the base instead Dresden is more likely to be travelling around with him when he hits the streets.

You can make out a few more of the details in the undercoated version of the model…

I had to do a bit of cleaning here and there on the miniature to remove some spots which hadn’t shown up to me when I was looking at the base model.

From here it will be working out the painting process for the model. I reckon we’ll go with a black duster, blue jeans, brown belt, dark brown combat boots, natural-looking wood staff and then black hair. I want to try and get the look of stubble on his face but we’ll get to that when we get to it!
