D&D Dungeon Masters Guide To Be Delayed
September 16, 2014 by stvitusdancern
Wizards of the Coast has announced that there will be a three week delay in the release of the 5th edition Dungeon Master's Guide, so now it will be released on December 9th and early release to select stores on November 28th.
According to the announcement they are refining the new book and due to the work on the other books, the Player's Handbook, upcoming release of the the Monster Manual and the already released campaign book, Hoard of the Dragon Queen.
What I can tell you is that these books are real nice and the artwork is awesome. From what I have seen so far I am liking how 5th edition is shaping up and the direction it is heading. With the guys looking to bring us a demo game it will be exciting to see 5th edition in action. My only question is what kind of character will Justin be?
Will you be joining in on the next great adventure?

Justin as Cohan The Barbarian?
would be nice to see a few RPG v-cast of the guys playing said games! Show some RPG love!
Every session will end the same as the Dungeon Saga demo:
Warren: “Lloyd, defend the rear, I’ll go ahead”
Lloyd struggling to keep 3 undead of him: “Ho man,…. This is going to sting”
“In case I forget to say this later; “Ouch!”” 🙂
Horde of the Dragon Queen isn’t a Campaign book, it’s an Adventure, there’s a huge difference.
Also, the new edition of Dungeons & Dragons is really only for new players who have never touched an RPG before. Multiclassing is broken, spells do too much damage, combat is too fast to the point you may as well just hand out free experience to players who show up to your game, and players simply cannot die in the game, it’s really hard to become invested in a character made in that game when you don’t have to worry about losing them.
“and players simply cannot die in the game”
“spells do too much damage”
? Enemy characters can’t use magic then eh…
I’ve seen characters drop like flies, loads say the combat is more dangerous.
But if you don’t like the change then stick to whatever edition you feel happy with.
