New Ticket To Ride: Europe Anniversary Edition Announced!
January 29, 2021 by brennon
Days Of Wonder has announced a new Anniversary Edition of Ticket To Ride: Europe. This is going to be a lavish new option for those who love their Ticket To Ride games or someone who really wants to pick up their own copy of the game.
Ticket To Ride: Europe // Days Of Wonder
This new version of Ticket To Ride: Europe comes with all of the materials from the original game plus the Europa 1912 expansion. This means you've got a total of 108 destination ticket cards to work through as you try and go on the most wondrous journey.
Much like with the core Ticket To Ride game, you'll be collecting cards in order to claim railway routes around Europe. The longer the route, the more points you earn. As well as completing routes you'll also want to make sure you make your destination! If you manage to do it, you'll score big but if you fail then you'll end up losing out!

As you can see, the Anniversary Edition of the game comes with some lovely upgraded plastic playing pieces, a GIANT board map and lots of additional artwork which has been designed to make this a lovely game to sit down and play.
If you're into your board games but don't have a copy of Ticket To Ride in your collection, maybe this could be the one!
Are you tempted by this?

That’s looks like a super nice edition. The individual player storage tins is a nice addition.
Looks very nice, I have the normal game but I will have to see how much this is going to be
Must be the millionaires edition because everyone is ment to stay at home?
Or the ‘Essential journey ‘ edition
Lol.
I would love this set. I tried to get hold of the first anniversary set, but it sold out quick.
One criticism I did hear was that the map layout on the original anniversary edition was not that great in game terms and was inferior to the standard edition. Can anyone comment on this please? @dignity
I’m a fan of TtR, played multiple versions/expansions, but as others have stated the super-nice editions tend to go quick and getting one to Australia is not going to be easy.
