check mate…. check mate man…
It’s not cheating.
It is effective use of material, tools, time and skill.
I once had a set of technical drawing pens (rOtring) for technical drawing lessons at school.
We needed razor blades to erase mistakes.
Great tip! I’m painting Celts at the moment and I’d given up on patterns for any of the normal warriors.

A great video Gerry the pen thing is a good idea it’s sharpie pens I’ve been useing I’ll have to see if I can get them arcirval ink pens for the future.
a pigma micron pen eh??? I will look into this it may solve my Goff Orks problems … (obviously not all of them …. my average painting ability not withstanding)
they do a few the link takes you to the archival inky one, sakura
Great tutorial, I use those pens for the pupils of my mini’s eyes. I never thought to use them for designs
“Cheating is perfectly Valid” I knew I listened to the wise words of Gerry for a reason.
I’m glad you mentioned about filling in with ink makes it look strange. I tried a checkered shirt and I couldn’t figure out what the problem was. It was to do with the slight transparency of the ink.
Cheers as always
