Fight For Slaanesh’s Mighty Lord Of Gluttony In Age Of Sigmar
January 6, 2021 by brennon
Another Age Of Sigmar preview that might have been missed over the New Year period was this peek at another character for the Hedonites Of Slaanesh. Games Workshop gave folks a better look at this corpulent sorcerer as you'll see here.
Glutos Orscollion, Lord Of Gluttony // Age Of Sigmar

As you might have guessed from his seated position atop this massive palanquin, Glutos is not really one to get stuck in and fight on foot. He prefers to cast magic from afar and let his retainers and massive mutant beasts do all of the work for him. He is guided by the daemonic Loth’shar and is a powerful foe for you to contend with.

In the days of yore, you would probably have just slammed as many cannonballs as possible into this and it would have gone the way of the dodo. I imagine that Glutos will have made sure that there are plenty of protections in place to stop such things happening to his throne.
I do like all of the hangers-on that he has managed to bring together to aid him in his endeavours and I think a lot of these would look good removed from the palanquin.

You could certainly use the fellow with the serrated sword and gleaming armour as the leader of a smaller unit or a skirmishing force when he's not battling alongside his sorcerer lord. If this works for you then I'd start trying to source a bag or box to transport this to your next game!
What do you make of the Lord Of Gluttony?

Wow that is a fabulous looking model.
Like something out of the 300 films.
Perhaps he should be facing off against those dwarfs with great big shields from MomMiniatures. You could easily convert their weapon hands to be holding spears.
It’s certainly worth considering.
Me at the takeaway after chucking out time the first night the pub reopens.
Very nice and slaaneshy model.
It finally happened, Slaanesh finally caught Baron Harkonnen!
This is actually a nice way to show how Slaanesh deals in all forms of hedonism and excess, not just rampant sex like he’s usually known for.
…. not that there is anything wrong with that 🙂
People tend to forget that he/she is about more than just that.
Oh I never said I disagreed. It was an attempt at humour on my part. Personally I’d be happy if all of the deadly sins got a lord …… except for wrathas thatr is basically Khorne’s thing …. which is a possible explanation for why Slaanesh’s number is 6 not 7 🙂
What if we got a whole Chaos unit in the future of seven elite warriors or unaligned daemons all based on the seven deadly sins?
-Wrath: Khorne
-Gluttony: Nurgle/Slaanesh
-Greed: Tzeentch
-Sloth: Nurgle
-Envy: Tzeentch/Malal
-Pride: Slaanesh/Khorne
-Lust: Slaanesh
This is a pretty great model and may just get me to spend some money on a GW product for the first time in years.
The more I look at it, the more I like it.
Tons of great detail, as we expect from GW.
I’m thinking of maybe painting the ogres as captured orc slaves who’ve been corrupted to Slaanesh’s will.
