Quickbeam Joins Treebeard In Middle-earth’s March Of The Ents
December 29, 2020 by brennon
Games Workshop hasn't left the realm of Middle-earth behind when it comes to previews over the last week or so. The team at Forge World are going to be producing a model for one of the other named Ents who can join the battle against Saruman. Here is Quickbeam!

Quickbeam is an uncharacteristically hasty Ent who plays a major part in the assault on Isengard and the eventual demise of Saruman's army. He was also, in the books at least, the Ent who gave Merry and Pippin shelter whilst the other Ents decided on what action they would take as part of the Entmoot.
I have played as Quickbeam in my Ent deck that I use for The Lord Of The Rings: The Living Card Game and he is bloomin' good. I hope that we get to see a lot of folks adding him to their Middle-earth armies as an option to stomp Orcs with too!
"Don't Be Hasty"
This miniature will be joined by the plastic Treebeard who was previewed not long ago by Games Workshop.

It is a pretty good time to be a Middle-earth fan as Games Workshop has been doing a lot to add to the range over the past few years. As well as new miniatures we'll also be seeing new books and more as they continue to explore the story of the Ringbearer.
Every time I see new miniatures for Middle-earth I have to stop myself from diving right back in. The game has a solid set of mechanics and the miniatures will always capture my imagination.
Will you be making an Ent army for this strategy battle game?

Those ents look really good.
I like the look of these. Would like to see them side by side – and some prices 🙂
